Important Locations

There are various places throughout Earth that have significance in the story. Here are a few of them with their importance and the various things they are used for. Some are benevolent, while some may appear outright evil.

A New Place in the World

When the Nexus opened, Earth’s geography didn’t just change. It fractured. Entire towns vanished beneath Verdant overgrowth, Storm‑born predators swept across open plains, and cities once vibrant with life were abandoned as humanity retreated behind fortified walls. Some places were erased in an instant. Others were slowly reclaimed by creatures that should never have existed on this world.

What remains is a patchwork of the familiar and the impossible.

Across the globe, scattered pockets of civilization endure, innovate, and adapt. Other sites have become mysteries no one has yet dared to solve. They are anomalies where realms overlap, ruins humming with Echo resonance, or landscapes warped by Dark‑realm physics.

Some of these places are extraordinary.

Some are mundane.

All of them tell the story of a world reshaped by forces far beyond human control.

This page gathers the known locations of the post‑Nexus era, all the safe havens, the danger zones, the wonders, and the wounds, with each one a reminder of what Earth was, and what it is becoming.

Center for Cognitive Wellbeing

The Center for Cognitive Well Being is run by the Dawnlight Society out of Rukh. This building is hell for those entering it. They advertise that they are a treatment center that helps people with mental health. The truth is far worse than anyone can imagine. It is a place where people with psychic abilities—latent or active—are put through torturous “treatment” at the hands of their director, Andrew Feingold. The truth behind the center has yet to be revealed, but the rumor is there is a deeper reason to the center than just “health and wellness” of the mind.

Center for Cognitive Excellence

Dawnlight's first location was in Casa Grande. This facility, run by Dr. Ira Smythe, is more of an education focused location. While the mission is the same, to bring in latent and active psychics, their true intentions are unknown. This location is thought of highly in the community, and though many people seem to stay there indefinitely, they regularly contact family and friends to tell them what a wonderful experience the center is for them. Some people say that something is off about their loved ones when they contact them, while others see nothing wrong with them at all.
